This Used Ferrari 458 Challenge Is The Ultimate Track Toy
If performance car manufacturers' usual track-biased stuff is a little tame for you, we have a solution: this Ferrari 458 Challenge. Silverstone Auctions will be putting the car under the hammer, with a guide price of £115,000 - £130,000.
Sounds like a lot, but this thing has pedigree. It clocked up numerous podiums when run by the Balfe Motorsport Team in the 2013 GT Cup and Pirelli Ferrari Open Championships. It features an upgraded carbonfibre aero pack, adjustable four-way Intrax dampers, and a steel brake conversion - which is cheaper to maintain than the pricy carbon stoppers.
A custom straight-through exhaust and remap ups the power to 605bhp, which should make this thing pretty quick given how much lighter it is than a road-going 458.
