Warning: These Aventador Vs Bus Crash Pics May Cause Man-Tears
This Lamborghini ploughed through a hedge and right into the path of a bus, prompting an expensive crash
This is all that remains of a Lamborghini Aventador after a nasty crash in Hefei, China. The driver is thought to have swerved to avoid a motorcyclist, after which he ploughed through a hedge and into the path of a bus.
Unsurprisingly, the Lambo came off worse. The front right side of the supercar is mangled, with the wing and wheel entirely missing, and the passenger door folded on the floor like a piece of paper. There have been no reports of injuries, but it looks like the cabin's safety cell held up nicely.
In an un-crashed state, an Aventador will do 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217mph - courtesy of its 690bhp 6.5-litre V12. In this state, it's as fast as the truck it's about to get loaded onto. Sad times...
