It was fun as heck. I feel bad for the minivan, I would love to buy one of those at THAT price just for dailying it. To bad theres only a handful of those here in Argentina. Theres one for 10k USD though (http://auto.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-645522232-ford-aerostart-v6-30-gnc-2-tubos-bajo-chasis-_JM), true american cars are considered rare collectibles here.
As crappy as diesels sound, no car deserves that treatment.
