Watch A Cadillac Representative Hit A Tram During A CTS-V Test Drive
Despite being uploaded only a few weeks ago - and only being picked up and circulated via Reddit yesterday - this embarrassing video was apparently shot in 2015. It seems to have been taken during the Pebble Concours d’Elegance event that year, with a “Cadillac representative” (according to the video description) taking several people for a ride in the then-new CTS-V.
Unfortunately, he got a little carried away, and after a heavy dose of the right-hand pedal and a complete lack of anticipation for the next corner, the CTS-V understeered onto the wrong side of the road and clipped a tram. With the speedometer showing 83mph just before the tight right-hander, it’s fortunate a more serious accident was avoided.
We’ve no idea why the footage has emerged only now, nor do we know for sure if the man worked directly for General Motors. We’ve reached out to Cadillac to see if we can find out more.

Damn, Gran Turismo Sport has some awesome graphics! Seems like the car behaviour is the same as 6, though
Good thing it didn’t explode like a colbalt or a corsa
i can understand oversteering during a corner but it looked like he completely forgot what a corner is, he didn’t even try to slow down.
Ya, although his whole driving style throughout the video showed laziness: not having at least one hand on the wheel, not looking at the road, speeding, etc.
Not helping the American car stereotype
Yep, right turn…
It gets old
Looks like it really LAC-ed the handling to make it round that corner.
A carrige with horses could’ve done better, and not hit the tram.
Youtube as a great sense of what clickbait is 😂
That’s YBR!!!!
Typical mustang driver hard at work.
Try harder, be original. Come on, you can do a better job at trying to be funny. You can do it.
You see here in ‘Merica, we only take right turns not left ones
84MPH into a tight bend like that? What did he expect was going to happen?!
