Watch A Crazed 2CV Driver Give A Lean-Tastic Lesson In Commitment
Have you ever seen a car come this close to being a literal example of the old phrase ‘cornering on its door handles’? We suspect not.
The car in question is actually more of a van - it’s the ‘Fourgonnette’ version of the Citroen 2CV. Spotted during the launch of the Up GTI in southern France by journalist Andrew Brady, the driver of this 2CV clearly did not want to be shown up by VW’s new baby hot hatch (our own, 2CV-less report from the event will be out this weekend, by the way).
As a result, the unhinged pilot was cornering in a way that’s best described as ‘committed’, with the Citroen and its quirky, ultra-soft, ‘interconnected’ suspension exhibiting comedy levels of bodyroll.
To the 2CV driver, wherever you are, we salute you. Just try not to tumble down the side of a mountain…

Well… The driver is fine, just the 2CV has terrible handling and wibbly wobbly suspension.
Oh I wonder who followed its steps
How did it not flip!!??
Meanwhile, in the back of that 2cv
I am pretty sure it didn’t flip because his massive balls helped keep it stable
I’ve watched this video with my grandpa and told me that in the 1970’s Citroën gave you another brand new 2CV if you bought it and you were able to roll it. Obviously, it seems impossible.
