Video footage of the Alfa 4C's deeply impressive 8min 04secs Nurburgring lap record has been released for our viewing pleasure.
The turbocharged 1742cc 4C reaches speeds of around 155mph (in fifth gear) at the hands of 59-year-old Horst von Saurma, a man well-known for his driving prowess on the 'Ring.
The 4C throws out 237bhp, is capable of 0-62mph in 4.5secs and tops out at 160mph. Judging by this video, the baby Alfa's also a truly breathtaking and lively little sports car.
