Watch The Incoming Porsche 911 GTS Throw Some Drifty Shapes At The 'Ring

The GTS version of the 991.2 Carrera will be with us soon, and thanks to this spy footage, we get to see a prototype cabriolet version getting all sideways at the Nurburgring

If the old GTS is anything to go by, we can expect the new one to receive a 30bhp boost over the 414bhp Carrera S using a tweaked version of the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six. It’ll almost certainly come with the Carrera’s optional Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Sport Chrono Pack as standard, plus a few minor trim additions to let people know you’re GTS baller.

It should receive its proper reveal later in the year.

They promised to keep the naturally-aspirated flat-six for the GT3 so I thought they might keep it for the GTS as well, as its supposed to be a ‘true driver’s car’. But seems like its actually a 3.0 turbo… It sounds good though

And near the end too — makes me wonder what was going on there.

You can see Skoda Kodiaq at left when 911 goes around the karussell.

It’s kind of a sensation to see hard-driven Porsche in every Porsche spy footage.

I’ve always maintained the GTS models are always the ones worth waiting for; this just proves it
