Watch Juan Manuel Fangio Chuck A Maserati 250F Around Modena in 1957
Onboard footage of F1 drivers chucking cars around circuits in the 1950s is extremely rare, so watching Juan Manuel Fangio lapping Modena in a Maserati 250F is a real treat!
Well, the nordschleife looked different, there was ever less room for error, great footage!
I wonder how the filmed this
how real men drove
Yeah, this is my new city bruh ❤
i hate to rain on your parade, but im 90% sure this is green screen (whatever tech they had in the day), the car looks completely separate from the track. i dont think this is a legit race.
Dude this is Juan Manuel Fangio, a five time world champion, a Formula 1 legend, why would they use a green screen?
There’s no need to do that for a five times world champion dude… Besides, look the light and reflections, no way they could do that perfectly back in the days.
It looks odd because the footage has been stabilised using modern techniques
If you’re doubtful, look at the wheels travel on their suspension.
Dear god..we surely came a long way.
Old school…. I love it…
Fangio got sideways with a 50 hp, 2 ton car. I have almost 200 hp and can’t do it yet! (unless is raining, lol)
Argentinian legend <3
would you rather drive a 50’s F1 car or a Modern one?
50’s one without a doubt. And I would enter it in a modern-day race. Just for lol’s
