Watch The McLaren 570S Spider Make An R8, i8 And AMG GTC Look Slow
We all know the McLaren 720S is the supercar king of drag races, but it’s only fair that its baby brother occasionally has a moment in the sun. We’re talking about the 570S - specifically, one in Spider form - which proves to be devastatingly fast in these drag races from Car Wow.
OK, so it’s hampered by a slow folding roof during the first race, with the contenders having to lower theirs before starting, but thereafter, the McLaren puts on a dominant display against the BMW i8 Roadster, Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster and Audi R8 Spyder.
Even with a poor start in the second race, the 570S was able to overhaul the Audi R8 Spyder and take a comfortable victory. It would have been slightly closer had the more powerful post-facelift R8 been available for this race, but even so, our money would have been on the machine from Woking.
Rematch in 2019, anyone?

I am 100% biased by the fact that I’m an Audi fan but how come every car in the race is the fastest convertible from their company EXCEPT AUDI!! So I’m still waiting for the v10 plus
