Watch The £3m McLaren P1 LM Get Taken For A Ballsy, Record-Breaking Run Up The Goodwood Hill
Former racing driver Kenny Brack didn't let the near-1000bhp output nor multi-million pound worth of the P1 LM put him off, as he clocked the fastest ever road car time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb last weekend
Having witnessed Brack’s practice run at Goodwood last weekend, we can confirm that he was on it. Clearly he wasn’t perturbed by the fact the P1 LM - seen here in ‘XP1’ prototype form - sends nearly 1000bhp to the rear boots, nor the value of the car, which is thought to be in the region of £3 million.
The LM has been created by Lanzante Motorsport, the firm which campaigned McLaren’s F1 GTR back in the 1990s. The company will produce five of the cars, which will start off life as P1 GTRs before being made road legal and given engine and aero upgrades.
