You could have bought a better car with the extra 40 grand lying around instead of wasting it on a camera there are apps on phones that can do the exact same

The app on your phone is not a forward looking infrared camera. Your phone camera picks up light on the visible spectrum, while the FLIR detects non-visible infrared light which is also known as radiant heat.

That’s cute. I can do the same thing with my CAT s60 phone with a built-in FLIR camera so … Why waste the 40k?
