Watching This M3 Driver Trying To Avoid A 'Ring Crash Is Proper Heart-In-Mouth Stuff

This BMW E46 M3 driver is seen desperately trying to regain control of his car, but in the end, he can't keep away from those dreaded Nordschleife Armco barriers

Earlier this month, this E46 M3 driver had an unfortunate coming together with some Nurburgring Armco, despite his best efforts to avoid it. At the very least, the impact doesn’t look too severe, but it doesn’t do anything to change our opinion about the risky nature of timing your Nordschleife laps, especially with a big, distracting stopwatch displaying on a phone in the middle of your dashboard…

I smell BMW hater.

I’d say alot, for 3 reasons. First of all, its a German car, in Germany. Second, alot of them are very good for track use without big modifications. It’s mostly driver faults that cause the crashes. And lastly, in Germany you can get BMW with decent engine for pretty cheap price.

inb4 someone calls me a butthurt bmw fanboy

Just go to a normal touristenfahrten day and you will see that actually the most driven car on the ring are bmws. And if you watch a “highlight” video of a certain day of touristenfahrten it should be very clear why BMW do crash so often on the ring. Those are by far the people having the most fun, go count the amount of drifts on a wet nordschleife day and 9/10 drifts will come from bmw drivers. You won’t see a lot of crashes from brands like Ford, Chevrolet, VW or whatever because they usualy drive like pu**ys on the ring. And the amount of extremely skilled BMW drivers on the ring is huge aswell, you can see daily that some guy in his old m3 will go down chasing some new porsche 911 gt3.

See, this is why BMW drivers don’t use their indicators. Look what happens when you do.

He did well to scrub off a lot of speed before inpact. It could of been a lot worse.
