This is the Speed Demon Streamliner. Until this time last year, it was the world's fastest wheel-driven car. Its record? 439mph. That's a whole Jaguar F-Type V6S (171mph) faster than a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (268mph). How does it manage it? Aside from that slippery body, it has a 347ci V8 with a pair of ma-hoosive turbochargers. Total power output is 2200bhp.
Here, we join the Speed Demon on a fairly tame 426mph run at what looks to be the Bonneville Salt Flats. 200mph in second gear? Standard stuff.
