What Do You Think Of Volvo's New But Not-So-Different Logo

Volvo recently unveiled the highly anticipated new XC90, the latest instalment of its popular SUV. It’s the first production car to showcase the manufacturer’s new Scalable Product Architecture which will underpin all of its upcoming models, as well as a new design language.

Stockholm Design Lab was commissioned by Volvo to create the new logo, and aimed to simplify the design: “Volvo needed a re-design of the iron mark, optimized for communication and versatile for all types of applications. The logo has been simplified in its purest form and conveys the brand’s vision; to be the world’s most progressive and desirable premium car brand.”
