in 1970s and 80s diesel mercs hit 500 000km or more and no one bats the eye, in 2016 guy hit 100 000km in Kia and it’s a big thing… ?
well I had a 96 Merc one Summer W124. It hit easily the 600.000 mark. But rear axle was broken, so some guys from hungary offered me money, I took it.
1.250.000kms on three oil changes. THREE. OM602 in W124 chassis. Then new owner put new filter, new oil in and it blew up. Gunk that blocked oil passages started spliting and it blocked oil pump, the oil pressure was there (and even more than expected) so it started leaking everywhere.
A friend’s dad has an old Merc that turned to 0 again because it got to 999999km
I believe we reach that point of time that if I see a Toyota hit 100,000KMs with absolutely zero issues I would be surprised. All the toyotas my friends bought kept having at least small issues here and there.
My golf TDI just rolled over 400000 the other day but I missed it
His reaction was one of the most beautiful things ive seen yet
One day I’ll record a car with those old school rolling numbers whenever I hit x00.000 kms, so we’d see all the numbers rolling. Imo lot more epic than digital numbers :)
I have just 18000 km to go for 300000 km. I’m sure that I still have the car by then
At 303.000 now :P
“Suck on thooooose gorilla nuts youuuuuu fck-fcks!!”
I totally mistook this for 100,000km/h, not distance travelled.
Same! Haha
same here
i can’t be the only one who saw 10k RPM
Dafaq ?! xD xD !! This made my day xD !n
Lol.. now your car has decreased another 50% in value..
Not like anyone really cares about those digits, at least when you live in eastern europe this means that the car has done at least 100.000 but could have done 300.000 or more.
the day after Bill had to change his engine due to te so called “kia-ache”. This is a common problem were kia engine suicide at 100.006kms of life
Straya in one video, beautiful 😂
LOL, less impressive when you realise its only about 62k miles, still good… for a Kia.
Yeah just so you know Kias are amazing cars. I get to drive my dad’s Rio and it’s amazing and fun to drive.
