For a cop, crashing your police car must be hugely embarrassing at the best of times. So imagine how this officer must feel, after crashing into a Ferrari 458 Spider.

The incident happened on Edgware Road in London last Friday, when a policeman driving a BMW 5-series Touring was thought to be performing a U-turn or a three-point turn. The officer didn't see the £200,000 yellow supercar driving by.

The BMW clouted the rear bumper of the 458, causing a considerable amount of damage. We have to feel for the officer though, telling his boss what had happened must have been incredibly awkward...
