The Ferrari 458-replacing 488 will definitely be quick enough - it has 660bhp, after all - but the big question many will be asking is this: will the 3.9-litre twin-turbo engine sound as good as the older car’s screaming naturally-aspirated V8? This video - which features both the ‘GTB’ coupe and ‘GTS’ Spider - certainly gives us a good idea.

While the cars you see undergoing testing stay at fairly low revs while they’re on camera, the V8 growl sounds pretty damn promising to us. What do you think?
