After a bit of an argument in the office, we'd thought we'd settle this once and for all by putting all the M cars to a vote!
Since the late 1970s BMW’s M Division has created some incredible road cars: anything from mid-engined supercars to ludicrously powerful SUVs. But which is your favourite? We’ve compiled this list of all of M Division’s efforts from the last few decades. Take a look through and then get voting!

Note: to keep things simple, we’ve grouped the cars together as generations rather than going into every single bodystyle and special edition. And as much as we wanted to include the E31 850CSI - which was developed by M Division - we left it off as it wasn’t badged as a proper M car.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
