Not really a “mod” but for me its good tyres. Every car I’ve bought with budget/mid-range tyres has had proper performance road tyres put on, no point doing brakes/suspension/power if the tyres can’t handle it.

If you’re talking British Pounds, i spent around 212$ on a new camshaft with 268° degress of duration from Comp Cams for my 250 C.I. 6cyl Chevy engine, it made all the diference…
Also, i bought a Empi HPMX 44 (Weber style carb, IDF 44 modern replica) for the same truck for about the same price and it feels really great!
