Which Mercedes C63 Sounds Best: 6.2 Or 4.0?

The current C63 may still have a V8, but it's lost just over a couple of litres in displacement and gained a pair of turbochargers compared to its predecessor. So does it sound as good? Listen to the comparison video then cast your vote!

I have heard both in real life, and the new C63 is definitely the best sounding, as long as its the C63-S and not the ¨regular¨ one.. In my opinon that is.

6.2 all the way! But check how slow the gear shifts are at 3:35…..can’t be right

The turbos act like a secondary mufflers. Unless the 4.0 has a different exhaust setup, we won’t be able to hear it’s natural tone.

Now we need a comparison between the M156 (6,2) and the M157 (5,5 Biturbo) that thing is a beast, with reasonable sound

The 4.0 seems a little slower off the line, but over the long haul I’d probably rather listen to that over the howl out of that 6.3. Boss motor, but that’d get old after a few hours.
