I’m sorry, people like Roary Reid? The man has all the charisma of a hard boiled egg. He seems to have no idea what he is talking about, wether he does or not is besides
the point he doesn’t come across like he knows anything. Wtf was the with the Mustang segment last
night? he was just talking about the usual clichés and then contradicting himself within the
same sentence, was that his fault or script writers? I’d say both. All I get is the distinct feeling that he is
still just some guy on YouTube rather than a television presenter, a problem I havnt found with Harris (who has his own problems).

This is true. It’s obvious he loves cars and can drive. But in conversation with Chris Harris it made him look like he wasn’t sure what he was talking about, was forced to make points he probably knew were nonsense, and it was very unnatural. There was no genuine enthusiasm for the case he seemed to have been forced to make for the sake of conversation. He struggled to control interviews naturally, and it was obvious that most of the content simply was scripted and so he had to get it out of the way.
He has been OK in, for example, the Rolls factory or speaking to the Jag driver - he’s clearly interested and capable in these roles. He has, as have they all, been dealt a really poor hand in terms of scripting. It’s appalling, terrible scripting. The cinematography remains excellent on Top Gear, but the scripting is unbearably hammy and amateurish, and obviously so to anyone who watches any form of TV.

Harris is really good for his segments, less so in the studio but still okay. Rory needs to be let loose so he can say what he wants, same for Matt seems like they’re not his words. Evans shouted to much and was boring. Jordan is pointless and so is Sabine

Chris Harris. Knowledge, facial expressions and seems pretty good at car control. Power junkie like me. Reid solid second.

Some say he attaches electrodes to his head to measure enjoyment, some say his deranged eyes are actually made of glass , some say he can drift further than Rosberg with Hamilton on the outside line, All we know is that he is called Chris Harris.

Harris and Reid have both proven to be great in segments and in the studio, while Matt needs to make himself sound slightly less scripted and Sabine and Eddie need to just leave.
