Which Is Worse: This MG's Horrendous Bugatti Body Kit Or The Asking Price?

There's really not a great deal that needs to be said to introduce you to this car, but even if you can stomach the looks, you may need to brace yourself for the asking price
Which Is Worse: This MG's Horrendous Bugatti Body Kit Or The Asking Price?

Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great sadness that we have to announce the sad death of whatever donor car is beneath the monstrosity you see here.

We think this ‘Bugatti Veyron project’ used to be an MG F before it was brutally attacked and mutilated into this twisted, hideous, malformed horror show. What sort of evil, heinous mind conceives such torture?

Everything about it is horrible, from the fit (what fit?) and finish (what finish) of the panels ?to the shoddy way the modifications have been ‘blended’ with the original MG door. Don’t get me started on the headlights that look like they’ve been cut out by two different children. The longer you look at it, the more brain cells you lose to sheer fury.

What’s more, you can buy an MG F that needs a little bit of spannering for less than £500. The seller of this utterly contemptible nightmare of a project has obviously realised the error of his ways and is trying to sell, but he’s asking £6000 for it. Six thousand pounds?! We wouldn’t give him £6.

Six grand is the same price you’d pay for a dealer-located current shape Suzuki Swift Sport, or a very nice Supra Legacy 3.0R Spec B. You could get a 3.0-litre BMW Z4, a Jaguar XKR with the supercharged V8 or you’d even have a huge choice of tidy MkV Golf GTIs.

Let’s not stop there, though. For the same six bags you could drive away with an FN2-generation Honda Civic Type R, a well looked-after Nissan 350Z, a MkII Audi TT, a Mercedes CLS with the creamy 3.5-litre six-pot, one of very many Imprezas, a Renault Sport Clio 200 or even a solitary BMW E46 M3 CS.

As the last two paragraphs have just proven (and I could have carried on), you’d have to be certifiably insane to spend £6000 on this. Any takers? Thought not.

I’d pay him the $6000. Then I’d take it to the junk yard and erase it from existence

Or you can try to remove the mods. Then give up and take it to the junkyard.

Somehow this is uglier than the original Veyron. But I reckon I know quite a few people who’d be fooled by this.
