This World Rally-Spec Lancia Delta Integrale Evo Just Sold For £225,000
A Lancia Delta Integrale Evo raced by Juha Kankkunen has just sold at auction for £225,000, smashing its lower estimate by £105,000.
Having been estimated to fetch a minimum of £120,000, a bidder in the room at Silverstone Auctions’ site at the famous circuit itself eventually won the auction for a sum not far short of double the lower estimate once the buyer’s premium was added on.
The sale of historic racing cars was peppered with highlights, but the Delta Integrale Evo was the jewel in the crown. A telephone bidder won an ex-Tim Harvey BMW E30 M3 for £146,250 including premium and a rare McLaren-built BMW E36 320 was sold for £92,250 including the auctioneer’s cut.
Our pick of the bargains, though, has to be a 1992 Porsche 911 964 Turbo; a rather pink but genuine 3.3-litre Turbo that sold for just £30,938, reflecting the loss of originality after it was rebuilt following a category C write-off. It’s much cheaper than the average 964 Turbo these days, and this one is a 320bhp track weapon.

Things are going to get more fishy if somebody sells a Mercedes 190E Cosworth Evo for 200K £
Ahh, lancia. What has happened to you?
new delta happened
Rust happened
I do hope that it won’t be collecting dust in a garage filled with other expensive cars.
its not, currently being worked on to get it back to its former glory. the car is going back to its famous grifone colours
I hope the owner drives it…
I just hope that its not put in a garage and left thre to gain money.
I think a low mileage, immaculate road going delta would go for more than that now.
Saw this in the flesh at the Silverstone Classic myself, I’d say it was worth every penny
Who tho would think that Lancia would sell for £105,000?
This pink Porsche??? Sorry that it’s upsidedown
