Yes, There Is Such A Thing As An RC Drift Meet
Watch this strangely mesmerising video of numerous radio-controlled drift cars doing their thing
It seems even radio-controlled cars can be set up for drifting, with extended steering arms to promote huge angles of attack into each corner. Each car does a surprisingly good job of sliding around each bend, some of them in perfect unison like the most-professional of drift shows!
I’m sure we all had some form of RC-car when we were younger, but this hobby seems a step above a plastic F40 from the local toy shop!

No walltaps? No thanks.
So how do they do touge?
They are drift rc cars because they use plastic tires
You can also use rubber ones because plastic ones melt on carpet tracks
This is pretty popular in japan. I saw it in a documentary about drifting and it looks so cool. And it’s for every age. Kids and grandpas play together..
Let me guess, driftworks - outsiders?
This video was made in Finland surprisingly ! Japan was my first thought
Pff…I can do that
Why all the downvotes guys??
Had a drift team in the next stand when I used to go to a thing called “japan expo” in france, they let me try, was very fun.

This had better be in the top 10 comments of the week.
“What you think, I’m gonna let you roll in a Hyundai?” - hands over remote control
We should hold a Carthrottle RC meet! I got 3 of them to show off - a rock racer baja style rc, a short course truck that goes 70mph+, and a touring/street car!
