Yes, Toyota Is Actually Entering A Crossover Into The Nurburgring 24 Hours
Toyota will be taking on the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance event in a racing version of its C-HR concept
Just when we thought a rear-wheel drive Subaru estate was the weirdest racing car we’d see all week, news of this Toyota lands. Yep, Toyota is going to turn its C-HR crossover concept into a racing car. To take on one of the toughest endurance races out there. We’re as surprised as you…
Details are very limited at this stage, but we’ll know a lot more when the car gets its proper reveal at the Geneva motor show in March. At the N24 in May it’ll also be joined by racing versions of the RC and RC F from Toyota luxury brand Lexus.

something about this just looks familiar..
So instead of focusing on the FT-1 they’re focusing on making a racing version of a soccer mom’s car……………..K
Because developing tunnel vision is usually what gets automakers into the red. Diversity, yo.
So Nissan entered LeMans with a “FWD” racecar (I know its AWD, hence the quotation marks), now Toyota enters the Nurburgring 24 Hours with a crossover… What’s next? Suzuki enters Pikes Peak with an SUV? Oh wait!
Honestly I like the way it looks but will it have the grunt to back it up
This race just keeps getting more and more interesting.
Imagine if they had this in fourmula drift xD
what not this Prius?
When almost everybody is making a crossover or adding one to their lineup Toyota is developing a racing car out of that kind of vehicle .Talk about embracing an unavoidable trend…
I feel like this was one of those times an engineer was drunk and spouted an idea and some higher up thought it to be a good idea
Lexus entered a RX400h into the Nurburgring 24h before. If I remember correctly it was in 2007.
