Aside from a few stickers, there’s precious little to give the game away on the outside of this 2014 Honda Civic Si. And that game is? Around 500bhp, actually.

Its 2.4-litre inline-four has been rebuilt with new pistons, con rods and much more besides, and is currently fed by a Comp Turbo 5862 blower. It’s still running the stock Si limited-slip differential, although the suspension has been suitably beefed up with Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers and spherical bushings.

It does still seem like it struggles to get the power down (with 500bhp through the front wheels that’s to be expected), but this is a car that looks like hilarious fun to drive.
