You've Actually Already Seen The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Thanks To F&F
While watching the trailer for The Fate Of The Furious before Christmas, you probably didn’t pay much attention to the pair of Dodge Challengers that burst onto the seen. You perhaps thought they were just lightly modified Hellcats - the Fast and Furious franchise does feature its fair share of tuned cars, after all.
However, it’s looking like the pair were actually SRT Demons, meaning the trailer effectively gave us a look at the car over a month ago. We just didn’t realise at the time, since the Demon was only publicly announced last week.
We can be fairly sure they’re Demons, too. The ladies and gents over at Autoblog were clearly feeling rather eagle-eyed this week, as they managed to spot the Demon logo slapped on the side of one of the cars during a video (below) featuring Vin Diesel discussing the incoming film.
Looks like quite a beast, doesn’t it? Particularly with that almost comedically large hood scoop.
The SRT Demon will be revealed at the New York Auto Show in April. It’ll be 90kg lighter than the Hellcat, and is expected to be more powerful too.

Well we know who is gonna get sued
I’d have thought they were aware of the trailer release schedule when agreeing to give the F&F crew the cars, perhaps figured the car being outed early was worthwhile for the eventual exposure the film will give.
Then again, this does make the 12(!) Demon teaser trailers seem a bit silly…
Pretty brilliant showing a car before it gets announced
hmm… isnt that familiar?
Demon sightings
Can you DEMONstrate what they looked like? ;)
Does this count as a spoiler for the Challenger SRT Demon?
Pretty much
Does it have spoiler?
We’ve been so blind…
So now we are hoping that we’ll see these cars in action once the movie is released
But all we actually going to see is some shooting and fighting with Challengers somewhere in the background
Car spotters be like :
DODGE DEMONNN
And i’m like rally fighter anyone?
why didn’t fast and furious reveal it earlier?
it is 60 KG lighter right? you are basically removing a Me from the car…
Or 1.2 Me’s from car
Or about 70% of me…………………………crap
90 kg lighter
