Cars that I think are underrated Part 3

Suzuki Swift Sport

The Suzuki Swift Sport is warm hatchback. The first gen was called the Ignis outside of Japan.
I have already talked about the Ignis sport in the previous part of this series, but today I want to talk about the 2nd and 3rd generation of swift sport.
The 2ND Gen produced 123hp out of a 1.6l engine and weighed 1,050kg making it a very light car and the 3rd gen made a tiny bit more power (130HP) out of a 1.6L engine and weighed about the same.
The swift sport is said to be a very entertaining car to drive and it’s currently on its 4the generation.

Toyota MR-2 (3rd gen ZZW30)

The third Gen MR2 or MRS depending on where you are, is a light weight, Mid engined sports car. It was in a similar league to the MX-5. And as with basically every car in this category, unfortunately it was overshadowed and overlooked by many.
It made 138HP and weighed just under a tone, and it’s midship layout gave this car great handling, a nice balance and high grip.

Toyota Vitz RS Turbo / Vits RS / Yaris T Sport

The Yaris/Vitz RS/RS Turbo had 133-160HP depending on year and the Tsport had 103HP. The Yaris/Vitz weighs a little over a tone. The sporty versions of the Yaris/Vitz are praised for its handling, running costs and reliability.
I think the subtle body kit looks pretty good too.

Audi S1

This hot hatch from Audi is a car I rarely hear anyone speak of. It has a 2L turbo engine that makes 227HP and does 0-60 in 6.6 seconds.
Its all wheel drive and adaptive suspension allow the S1 to hold the road well and In reviews it was praised for its quality and performance.

Chevrolet SS

The ill fated SS had a 6.2L Naturally aspirated V8 that made 415HP in a sedan body style and can get to 60mph in 4.7 seconds.
The SS was apparently good value for money and drives very well, although it is a bit outdated now, especially in the interior.

Do you agree with this list?
What other cars do you think are underrated?

YES ! The S1 ! Totally underrated, with a simple remap it takes you to 300bhp AWD 6 speed manual. Available in 3 and 5 doors, depreciation hit them, what else ?

The reason the ss wasnt a big of a hit is that it looks too normal…for someone thats not into the car and doesnt know the car the way to identify that its a performance car is its name wich is tied to chevys other performance model the “ss”,but its a sleeper for sure
