(Urgent) Please help! What does this flashing light mean?

I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure it’s in the owners manual.
Maybe try reopen the trunk and bonnet.
Looks like a transmission indicator to me. This would explain the “wont shift from fourth gear”. This could be a computer override, be sure everything else is fully functioning. Ie breaks, parking break, lights, sometimes cars refuse to let the transmission budge if it thinks it wont be able to stop once moving. If your car has a gear box release (this will be a small hole where a key or screwdriver can be put into) this will physically release the gear select while the car is off. If all else fails you may want to check transmission cables. If I were you sit and try various steering wheel, break, clutch, even gas pedal positions while trying to select a different gear. Hopefully something will release then reset the cars fault that it is picking up.

You can try to disconnect the battery for a while. Also there should be two (i believe) big connectors next to the battery which you can disconnect and then put back again. Futhermore you should check the selespeed oil level.
If it doesn’t solve the problem, a mechanic has to take a look at it.
