Assoluto Racing review: Gifted Prick-TVR Sagaris

Preview:

The car starts at 70k and S rank, which is decent and it’s radical looks appeal a lot to me.

Handling characteristics:

The car is very twitchy and sensitive to the player’s inputs. It severely lacks grip and loves to
crash.

Straight line performance:

Even though it has 801 hp at max, the absence of a 6th gear means that you will have to stick with the long gearing provided stock. It still pulls like crazy on the straights though.

Fun Factor:

The complete absence of grip and crash-loving nature of the car will frustrate well…

Status:

Mediocre at best. The car is gifted with lots of power and low weight, but you can’t utilize it’s potential because you have to be extremely careful with the throttle since you will crash if you try to push, to be honest you will crash anyway… but whatever…

How should I tune it?

If you have nothing to do with your life other than buying random cars and racing them (like
me). Here is the tune I suggest you use.

● Max everything, but upgrade weight reduction according to your skill, keep in mind that the low weight it has is it’s only source of grip (I personally suggest stage one)
● Lower steering sensitivity to cope with some of its twitchyness
● Lower the tire pressure to 20 psi or less, to marginally increase grip.
● Increase camber to 3 degrees
● Get a good set of skills with you and a lot of patience.
● All of this measures will only reduce crashing, not eliminate it.

Should you buy it?

No. Not all of the skill in the world can make this car great, you will have to greatly compromise your driving style to suit the car. You won’t be winning races with it, but if you still think you are up for the challenge of driving it, well… You have been warned.
