Cool car news websites!

DISCLAIMER Not saying that CT is dead or you should leave it behind or that is stupid, rather these are just websites that provide cool car news and other exciting car-related content. There is no other community like CT but CT doesn’t have all the stuff other groups have. Although you may know about these websites already they are still unknown to many others. Also, these well known in the U.S., so sorry if I do not mention a really good English car news website. Leave some for me to find as well as I do not know every news website.

Plz no delet

I will leave a link to these websites at the end.

Top Gear

Now, this is probably one of, if not the most well-known car website/show out there. Top Gear has always been a really awesome car entertainment group giving you the latest and greatest of car reviews, news, and insider information. Although some say that the new Top Gear will never be as good as the original it still provides a lot of content that is really only obtainable through Top Gear. Top Gear is a car reviewing show that is one of the only of its kind and a large one at that. Because of that, they get a lot of the latest and most exciting news and experiences from manufacturers. They also have a magazine but if you don’t have the money or you simply don’t want to pay you can always go the website but there are quite a few things like “TG Big Read” that are exclusive to the magazine. Top Gear is primarily a UK show but there is a US and UK website.

Jalopnik

Now, before I go on I must warn you that, for those young enthusiasts out there whose parents would be concerned about profanity, I advise you do not go on. But it is not my choice so proceed with caution. Jalopnik is an American car news organization that has a variety of car news and opinions. They have stuff like top ten comments of the week on CT but instead, it is Comment of The Day (COTD) and they are usually funny like the ones on CT. Other than that it is somewhat similar to CT, it isn’t the biggest network out there but it provides news and some interesting original article series. For example, one of the staff writers has a series called Nice Price or Crack Pipe (NC or CP) that has a very interesting car for sale with most of the facts and figures and at the end you get to vote in a poll on whether you think it is a Nice Price win or a Crack Pipe loss. It is then added to all the other votes to see what the result is which is announced in the next article. There is more, like What Car Should I Buy?, where real readers email Jalopnik for their opinion on what kind of car they should get based on their situation. It is very interesting as the scenarios are somewhat bizarre and the choices are equally strange but nonetheless it is still very interesting. There is also The Morning Shift, essentially it is a summary of some of the biggest and most important events happening in the car industry with the subjects being listed by gears.
They also have various other news outlets such as ones that deal with Technology and ones that deal with Science.

Motor Trend

Motor Trend in a nutshell is an American Top Gear. They do a lot of car reviews just like Top Gear and giving lots of information and ratings on the car. Similarly to Top Gear’s Worlds Greatest Drag Race, they also do Best Drivers Car of The Year where they test the best of the best drivers cars and put them to the test to see which is the best. They do shows on YouTube kind of like how Top Gear has their show. For many of you American car enthusiasts, you will know that on YouTube they also post some of their shows like Roadkill, Head2Head, Dirt Every Day and Ignition to name a few. Roadkill and Dirt Every Day are very interesting and unique as there aren’t many shows like them. Roadkill is a very cool show where they buy horrible but interesting used cars and do some wild things with it but it is very entertaining to watch, I will say however there is a bit of profanity so I would be careful. Dirt Every Day is similar to Roadkill except it is mainly offroading and making cool budget offroad cars. They only post these episodes on YouTube every so often because they are shown on Motor Trend On Demand which is a paid subscription but you get all the shows I mentioned and more, so it depends on what you want to do with your money.

Please let me know of some other really good websites in the comments! These were mainly large ones.

That is a good one although it is confirmed that they are biased so I don’t listen to them. What I mean by biased is that they can recieve money from manufacturers to say better things about their car
