Drive shaft keeps popping out.
On my BMW Z3 the drive shaft on the left side keeps popping out. I already changed the little locking ring inside of the differential but that didn’t change anything.
Maybe someone of you has any idea.

Yes the leak only exists becaus the drive shaft isnt completely in
Well the put put shaft normally has some play in it. So id say the gasket and that seal is the actual cause of the leak.
all spinning parts on a car have some play in them. Even the crankshaft has some play back and ford. That amount of play varys from application to application. As long as its not coming so far put the drive shaft falls on the ground and the up and down play isnt crazy then its likely fine.
So my money is on the seal and gasket
If thats the diff and it comes out more than spec then the pinion gear has come out of adjustment and needs adjustment. Could also have failed the barrings in the pinion gear
The barrings seem to be finde but i will try the adjustment, hipefully that’ll solve the problem.
