Rear speaker upgrade
On my entry level 09 523i LCI the audio was lacking treble, as the car was shipped with no tweeters. I decided to get these Sony 3 way 4” speakers to replace the ones in the back shelf. Very easy upgrade and well worth it and they fit under the OEM covers to keep that stock look. I had to cut one of the mounts off the speakers and trim the shelf to add the last mount as the originals had mounts in a triangular formation.
Looking at adding a subwoofer to the boot/trunk in the near future. Any recommendations or suggestions on how to do that?
