The UK Now Has Two McLaren MSO HS' Up For Sale. The 'Cheaper' Car Can Be Yours For £799,000

007

This ‘16 MSO F1 Charcoal Grey MSO HS (#007) was delivered new to its owner through McLaren Ascot in October 2016. The car features gloss black Ultra Lightweight wheels, McLaren Orange brake calipers, carbon fibre badges and a black embossed leather and alcantara interior with carbon fibre race seats. 007 was one of the very first HS’ delivered worldwide, and the first to be delivered to a customer in the UK. The car was listed for sale earlier today by McLaren specialist Alistair Bols for £799,000: £49,000 more than the Senna’s RRP, and £540,000 more than the RRP of its base car - the 675LT.

This ‘16 MSO Blu Alfa MSO HS (#021) was delivered new to its owner in late 2016. The car features gloss black Ultra Lightweight wheels, silver brake calipers, stealth badges and a black embossed leather and alcantara interior with carbon fibre race seats. The first owner of this HS configured the car to match the rest of his McLaren collection: namely his F1, P1 and 675LT (the latter two were also recently sold). Given this example’s extensive options list, and its 64 mile odometer reading, its POA listing is likely somewhere in the £800,000s; potentially nearing the P1’s base price.

Given the choice, which of the two would you have?

I’ll be honest, yes they are MSO cars but I would rather buy a custom 570s and/or 720s of my liking. Maybe if you want to collect cars and you have the money, you could but I would rather have a car speced to my liking.
