5 Pointless Cars In GTA 5 That Should've Been Trashed

GTA 5 has a good mixture when it comes to vehicles, especially in new updates and downloadable content. Take the Progen T20, for example. This car, which came together in one of the older updates, gets a gist of the McLaren P1. It has the retractable wing, the looks, and the proper speed. However, some cars that have been placed in the game were just pointless. And when I say pointless, it is absolute bullcrap. Either it’s there just because the developers had no idea what to place, or some idiot replaced a potentially awesome design with something that has been thrashed even before they released the update.

In this article, we will tackle 5 pointless cars that are in GTA 5, either as a car released in an update, or an in-game vehicle itself. We’ll also see why it looks pointless and why it should’ve been removed from the game. So, without further ado, here are the top 5 pointless cars of GTA 5!

1. BF Raptor

First up, here is what I’d consider as the most pointless car on GTA 5. It is no other than the newly-released BF Raptor, which was classified under the “sports” car section in GTA 5. It does NOT even look like a sports car! And why would someone spend $600,000 on something that looks like a cross-breed of a motorcycle and an Ariel Atom? It only runs on an I6, and the design made it worse. Yes, the front wheels can support the steering, but the designers must’ve forgotten that the rear wheel has ALL the power, and that molding together the rear end of a motorcycle with an open-wheeled racecar creates something useless. There’s few customization jobs on LS Customs, and why on earth does it have a reverse gear?

2. Lampadati Pigalle

This unique car came in the “I’m Not A Hipster” DLC, and yes, there are things that make this car unique. First, it’s the only car with a Euro plate, second, it might just be the car with skis on top of the roof; and third, this car has quite awesome headlights. However, the ONLY thing that makes this car pointless is its hood options at LS Customs. Seriously, who would be smart enough to place a rat hood on a car that is potentially European? I pity those who wasted their money to buy this car, and spend it all on upgrades just to turn it into a rat-styled Euro fastback.

3. Vapid Minivan Custom

Ever since the competitive DeClasse Moonbeam came along last year, it easily gained the reputation of many, because of some reasons: first, it’s the only van during that time that came loaded with an extreme set of ICE upgrades, a roof extension, a spare tire, and some radical liveries; and second, it’s just plainly awsome. However, when the Vapid Minivan came along, it almost ruined the essence of the Lowriders update. I mean like, why, Rockstar Games; why? Why on earth would you make this a lowrider than all the other cars (Albany Manana, Vapid Peyote, DeClasse Vigero, Benefactor Glendale) that aren’t in Benny’s? And why would someone spend all their money customizing a minivan and making it far worse than when it was only stock?

4. DeClasse Rhapsody

Yes, this is the lemon that we call the Pacer. However, GTA 5 made it pointless when it came to customization options. For $140,000, you can get a lemon and bring it to LS Customs. Spend some money there, and you get an unimaginable lemon strapped with a bug catcher, white-walls, splitters, and a tuned engine under the hood so that the “essence of being a lemon” is, in one way or another, “hidden”. Why give a lemon plastic surgery when it’s already been called a lemon? Well, no matter how much you plunder your cash for mods, it would ALWAYS be a lemon.

5. Weeny Issi

What do you get when you cross-breed a Porsche 911 (993) and a Mini Cooper cabrio? You get Rockstar’s idea of a starter car - the Weeny Issi. This is by far, the worst compact car in the game. Though it is the car of one of the protagonists, I still believe that this is pointless due to the following reasons: first, why would you slap a Porsche’s front end to a Mini? And second, why is there a bodykit when there’s no spoiler nor anything that can at least make this manlier?
