Isuzu - UnLoved JDM

Ay :D
So for the past few days i have been looking at Isuzus and i must say, they are pretty cool… Just look at their cars, its so 90’s.
You know those japanese kei cars that are only released in Japan and not really in Europe, America or Australia? Well Isuzu is different, it has designs that combine all (Euro, Kei, Americans reliable first GM cars).
Ok, to some people Isuzu is pure crap because of the looks of that SUV, but to me its fine. People know Isuzu because of the Isuzu Trooper, but i like them because of their little sedans and coupes that are pure gold
So lets take a look of few of them shall we.

Coupes

Coupes - Isuzu Geo Storm, Isuzu Impulse

Alrighty, Geo Storm is like a little coupe with very low bhp, avaible in cabrio (T-top) verisons, its a budget car that is supposed to make you feel like you are in a racecar. The GSi version had 140bhp and it had a good 0-60 time of 7.1 seconds, so not bad for a budget t-top car.
When it comes to finding info about this car, well good luck, because you just cant get any.
I need to say, their roofs are terrible, once when it was raining i saw one with a freaking lake in the roof…
Although Geo Storm is cool, it can be tricky but its a very cool car to own, as my neighbor says…

But, Impulse is a whole different story… Impulse is i need to say much cooler. I mean just look at those headlights, I mean just “WOW”. Plus its RWD, so i really dont know why it isnt a JDM legend… It has like 100-160bhp… It was only avaible for Canada and US, maybe Japan. I really like this car, only problem is to find one that is in good shape, or maybe even find one at all…

Compacts

Compacts - Piazza/Impulse, Gemini (or something like that)

We all know about the classic Piazza, right? I mean just look at it, it screams 80’s. Plus it even had turbo verisons and many other neat cars. And its RWD. See, i still dont understand why its not a JDM icon
As for finding stuff for the Piazza it was easy, it just says it all. I mean how can you refuse that look on the car?

The I-Mark is like the Hyundai Pony. There isnt much else to say. But i do quite like it

Sedans

Sedans - Isuzu Stylus

I know there is Isuzu Gemini but its basicly a Honda Civic Sedan, and that aint really original.
I quite like this little sedan. It might look regular but to me this is perfect. I really dont know why.
There is so much potential in this car… If you gave me this car and 2k euros i whould make it a show car.
Front lights look very Subaru-ish and the back looks more like a Daihatsu… Plus i heard they are very comfy and cheap… So get your hands on one, just dont make it a daily…

SUV

Alright, why didnt i mention the Trooper? Because this is a blog about looking at Isuzus amazing cars that really didnt get that JDM fame (its not like Trooper got it, but its quite popular)
To some people this looks like trash, well the front lights kinda look like Azteks upper lights. I like ugly cars.
Plus these things sound so brutal its unreal.
Get your hands on one before its too late…

Alrighty that might be the end of the blog
But there are many more Isuzus sedans, compacts, SUVs and coupes?
Well i putted the best ones, also if there are some i probobly chouldnt find them
Lemme know if you found one
Anyways
Bye-bye

And what about the Isuzu Imark? Man this car was so fun to drive! And not to mention the redline at almost 10 000rpm…

In Japan the Isuzu Piazza is the wedge with the pop-ups, the Isuzu Piazza Nero is the wedge without pop-ups, the 2nd gen Piazza is the Piazza Nero, the Geo Storm is the PA Nero, the I-Mark is the Gemini, the Stylus is the Gemini and the Vehicross is FWD only (I think).
Also classics exist like the Florian, Bellet and 117 Coupe.
I don’t know too much about their engines, but I believe the Piazza was naturally aspirated DOHC, the Piazza Nero 1st gen was turbo SOHC and the Piazza Nero 2nd gen was naturally aspirated (as opposed to the U.S.A Impulse being turbo AWD). Also Canada had the 2nd Impulse rebadged as the Asuna Sunfire.
