Any help with my steering kickback?

This is my Peugeot partner van 03 plate, the scraping noise is just the cover not having all the screws in so ignore that but the kickback noise is the concern dosent affect driving or steering tbh

Local garage said it maybe a power steering pump but I don’t it as it dosent make any noise when turning it just if you do this

Partner’s and berlingo’s are notorious to have weak front springs, they tend to break at the bottom or top.
Combined with bad topbearings should do that.
Try with the engine turned off that should rule out the servopump.

Weird question: what size tires are on the car?

I think something like 175/65/14 on and would that really affect it ? I’ll try it after with the engine off. I’m driving 250 miles on Thursday and it’s in with the garage on Monday but I think it does need new tyres also
