This meme is so sad and true it hurts. I really despise those mobile racing game developers more than ever, and CSR 2 is already not worth playing anyways.

The main reason why a car making its video game debut in a F2P mobile game is not a good idea is that inevitably, that car will be deliberately blocked off by a massive paywall and serve to continue the power creep as a way to lure out unsuspecting players’ wallets. CSR 2 is very notorious for this, especially with the Brabham BT62.
And yes, I get it. Console game devs take longer to put new cars into their racing games, but it is HONESTLY more than time for mobile game devs to stop focusing on adding the newest cars that come out and instead actually focus on fixing issues with their games.

I stopped playing CSR2 after finishing the main story.
I stopped playing Asphalt 8 after it started charging Tokens for upgrades.

I never played Asphalt 9 because none of my devices are able to download it, but I’ve tried it on a friend’s iPhone. Pay-2-Win is so ingrained into it (car blueprint system, premium currency) and the tracks are insanely short (designed for grinding I presume). I don’t think I’m missing out on anything by not playing. The only decent mobile racing game is Gear Club.
