Dyno results e92 330i N52
Dudes do you kindly provide me with dyno results from stock n52b30?
My background is that a friend of mine is pretty depressed due his 330i just put 252hp instead of 272 on the dyno protocol.
He thinks know that the pre owner didn’t threat the car very well and lost some hp. He threat himself insane couse he thinks he need a rebuild any time.
My theory is that the e92 never produced the promised 272 hp as a N52. Maybe as N53.
So my bet is that they all produced round about 260hp and the 272hp are just in order of marketing ;)
Do you have some dyno results from N52?

N52B30 engine 258 bhp.
N53B30 engine 272 bhp.

That would explain it..did he mistake the engine for the N53?

The N52B30 produced in the e92 and e93 (just in that two ones!) 272hp and
265hp in the 130i.
Any other bmw with N52b30 produced 258hp, no metter if it`s an 530i or E90 330i.
I don’t want the origin specs.
Im looking for real dyno protocols.
Couse I’m pretty sure that the never churn out the promised power (the e92).

We got a M54 3.0 in our Z4 E85 and it’s not stock around 300hp i would say so i can’t give you any answer sorry 😔😛

Manufacturer always claim Engine horse power, in your case 272hp.
Maybe your friend did dyno test and there was Wheel Horse power?!
The N52 makes 258hp max
