I say this as a rally nut, but group b needed to end. It had interesting cars but without any regulations as far as spectators go it was deadly.
It was. And that’s the sad part…. I really wish it could have lasted for one, just one more sesson. We could haveseen the 288 gto and the 959 duking it out

in portugal there were actual crowds on the middle of the road and they pretty much only moved when the car was right next to them

The reason they found human fingers was because the spectators wanted to touch the cars as they passed
