The Weirdest Corolla Ever? '87 Toyota Corolla CS Seca (AE82)

We all love Corollas. But the weird, ugly 1987 Corolla CS Seca was a little too much for me. Is it really good, or is it destined to be locked up in a junkyard somewhere?

I remember seeing my first CS Seca. It was close to my school, and it’s abandoned to this day. When I was younger, I used to think it was an AE86, because Initial D.

The body style looks like a Prius before the Prius even existed. The license plate was incredibly out of place, just like the Range Rover Discovery. Oh well, at least it’s in the middle.

Now THAT’S a Corolla! That render features a more properly placed license plate, and it’s just all-round awesome.

So, how would you rate the Corolla CS Seca? I’ll give it a 5/10.

Just a short little blogpost for you all. This was Ash, signing off!

Someone should make the “upgrade” meme of the AE86. The ‘87 Corolla being a “f**k go back!”

It reminds me of Family Guy’s Jake Tucker. 😂😂

Also, i’d give it a 7/10 just because it tried to be different. And it looks pretty cool, especially the front.

It’s not the prettiest cars granted, but I still like it. even more than the sedan of that era.
Than again I like almost every boxy car

In essence, they moved the position of the tailights up more towards the hatch and ditched the wrap-around lights. Compared to an AE85/AE86, I see minimal difference.

Besides it being a 4-door.

Sure it’s FWD, but we can’t win em all.
