Tail-light fluid.

This car is running low on tail-light fluid. Should I top up with distilled water/plain water or should I buy a special tail-light fluid? Is it possible to use blinker fluid in tail lights? ; )

Don’t use blinker fluid!!!! 😱 Blinker fluid has had decades of R&D to be used with blinkers! You need especially designed taillight fluid!!!!
You wouldn’t use screenwash as engine oil would you? 😲😂😂😂

Jokes aside, would it be better to use silicone gasket maker or silicone grease to seal the joints?

A water resistant rtv gasket maker is your best bet. But disassemble the light and remove the old gasket completely. Do it right and you shouldn’t have to do it again.
