That’s just dumb, I won’t even ride my minibikes with t shirt & shorts. I fell off on asphalt with normal pants on over a week ago and I can tell you that road rash ain’t fun at all. I wasn’t going any fast either.
Right? I remember hitting what had to be about 20mph down a hill on my mountain bike as a kid. Shorts and loose fitting DC skate shoes. No full face helmet. Fell off and slid like sliding into home plate. Totally destroyed my left thigh and calf. As well as my hand and forearm. It was so bad it was bleeding. Just from friction. Can’t imagine that at even 35 let alon the highway speeds of 55 and 65.
