Is it possible to build from scratch a classic roof rack for cheap?
I was looking on websites for roof racks lately and I either didn’t find any or they were way out of my price range. So I thought I could build one myself…Is that a good idea? If yes, do you have any suggestions on how to do this?

You can use wood from crates and install it on an old rack. All you’d have to do is sandblast/paint the frame, cut and sand the wood, and stain the wood whatever color you like
