New here, Introduction to my WRX STI 2003

My beloved Subaru WRX STI, it was long time a dream car for me. Dreams do come true, its such a drivers car and yes even if it feels somewhat cheap inside it really shows what its made of once you drive it hard.

The specifications are interesting, the tuning was not done by me but a pro-company, it has a EJ2.5L (bottom-to-mid power band) with a spec-C twin scroll turbo. This means it pulls rather strong and fast from bottom to about 6000 RPM, I can literally be in 6th gear on the motorway here in Norway doing 110 km/h (the speed limit) and if i step on it theres no turbo lag because of the reversed intercooler setup and the car just goes.. 370 HP might not sound like much but these are “different horses” and the acceleration feels very nice (like holy s#3! before you know it.. doing 200 when u thought u were doing 170)

It also has:
VI-PEC ECU
Ported tops
CP forged pistons
H-profile rods
Xtreme Carbon Clutch
Xtreme flywheel
Completely new register timing belt
Denso Spark Plugs
STI 11mm oil pump
ARP Headstuds
STI Spec-c twinscroll turbo (as mentioned)
Tops - newly and overhauled with Supertech springs
New Intercooling piping
Mishimoto Aluminium radiator
Pure Racing Catch tank
STI brake hoses
Rota 18” summer wheels & Innovite 17” winter wheels

What a lovely spec
This is my dream car too… very unlikely to come true though; - ; (don’t have a license and 2 years short of age to even get it, miserable driving experience and basically mum saying “no, that’s too much for your first car”)

Well your mother isnt wrong, it shouldnt be your first car.. when I was 19 and just got my license I wanted a BMW E34 M5, my dad said are you craaazy? Those things are ridiculously quick! you are either gonna drive yourself to death or its gonna be a car full of dents. I ended up with a 520i E34 that I could throw around, didnt matter if I got some dents, just a good beginners car:) So dont worry about it, in time, everything will come.
