In this final part of this #blogpost, you’ll be reading about Horacio Pagani’s achievements and merits and what is the future of Pagani Automobili.

Horacio Pagani has maintained a standard that exceeds the highest in the industry. The Pagani Huayra is one great example - Every single nut and bolt is made from titanium and has a Pagani logo laser etched on it. All aluminium parts on it are carved out from a solid block of aluminium. The name batch on the rear bumper takes 24 hours to be carved out. It’s the same for the aluminium wheels which too are milled from an aluminium block and takes 5 days to make. This has put Pagani’s standard at the highest in the industry.

The experience Pagani gained in making carbon fiber since 1989 is also one of the highest quality carbon fibre one can ask for in the industry including Pagani’s Carbo-titanuim composite. This has ensured that Pagani’s vehicle safety standards also remain high all while abiding the rules of making a road car. Even under the strictest rules for automotive design guidelines, Pagani vehicles always make the cut when it comes to the design department.

Ever since Horacio signed a deal with AMG, there has been just one man who has been part of the brand from the beginning providing Paganis with the state of the art power plants; Michael Kübler. A man who just like Mr. Horacio has passion to build things…. or in this case, handcrafting engines. More Paganis have this man’s signatures than any other Pagani engine. The philosophy of “One man, one engine” at AMG shows how well dedicated engineering craftsmanship goes into making such amazing pieces of technology ensuring that all those who make an investment in their brand are assured that they get nothing short of perfection.

Horacio Pagani is also famed for having a wonderful little car collection in Italy and back home in Argentina. Some of the known ones he owns apart from his own company creations are Porsche Carrera GT, Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari 512 tdf, Jaguar E-Type series 1, Ford Model T, Ford Cortina racer, Ford GT Gulf oil edition, Porsche 911 991 GT3 RS, Porsche 911R 991, Mercedes-Benz S-Class AMG and Mercedes AMG GT.

The Future of Pagani

In an interview, Mr. Pagani stated about diversifying the brand by trying out other markets. These include building a boat similar to the Riva Aquarama which had two Lamborghini V12 engines but Horacio’s design will include AMG engines. Other ideas are to be involved in architecture design by starting out their own architecture design studio providing designs to their clients and consultants.

In May of 2017, Pagani unveiled the colaboration with Airbus to make interior design for Airbus’ private luxury division of ACJ319neo aeroplanes. This was one of the first interior projects Pagani has successfully intergrated outside the world of automotive and showcases the artistic nature of Pagani that can be possible in other fields.

Pagani’s dominance at the most elite race tracks setting records have also proven the brand’s competitiveness despite their size and resource availability. Pagani hopes to continue to grow and remain an exclusive brand offering technology that is not available on a mass production scale.

Horacio Pagani has two sons - Christopher Pagani and Leonardo Pagani who are both active members of the Pagani brand and are next in line after their father to take over the brand. But for now, the legend continues to express his might and show to the world, he’s no short of throwing up a fight.
