First. Car. LIVE! #Season 6: Breaking the matrix. (Rate the compilation pls. Lol.)

Picked a few interesting models quickly just to try this out. They might not be the coolest cars out there, but i’m doing this for fun. And all cars can be fun. If it works, next time i’ll post some cooler cars.

  1. Mazda CX-7 GT
  2. Audi A2 S-Line
  3. Fiat 500 Abarth
  4. Chevrolet Optra SR-V
  5. Opel Astra OPC 2
  6. Mazda RX-8
  7. Fiat Abarth Avventura
  8. Kia Rio Sports-Pac
  9. Suzuki Kizashi AWD
  10. Mercedes C230 Kompressor Evolution AMG Pack

First up is the CX-7 GT. It uses the same engine as the Mazda MPS6 and also has the same AWD system. It’s basicaly the hidden MPS, so to speak, clearly a sleeper. The engine has a great tuning potential and the AWD system is customizable too because you can get an aftermarket switch to turn it off when you don’t need it or want to save some fuel.

While i won’t recommend buying A2 S-Line with the 1.6L engine, it’s definitely a fun one if you’re into learning about engines. The thing with it is that its engine code “BAD” suits it very well. It’s quite unreliable, but this could be a positive thing if you’re starting to DIY fix your cars. It would make for a great learning car, because it’s also quite fuel efficient. And after it’s completely fixed with aftermarket parts, you could even tune it.

The Abarth 500 is the literal definition of a pocket rocket. It’s tiny, weighs less than a ton and has a very tunable engine. There isn’t really much to say about it. It’s just outstanding, especially the Biposto edition, which comes with only 2 seats, lots of carbon fiber trim pieces and over 100kg weight reduction.
Being an Indian car guy is not easy, so this one is for y’all. Chevrolet Optra SR-V is one of the most popular warm hatches in India. It has a whole community dedicated to it, so it’s often seen with custom bodykits on, or even turbo kits, from what i was able to find online.

Astra OPC 2 is one of my personal favourites. It uses the legendary Z20LET engine, which was co-developed with Lotus. In consequence, their tuning potential is outstanding. There are even Ecotec engines pushing 1000+HP.

I know what everybody is going to say, RX-8 is worse than everything. Yes, it may have its fair share of issues from factory, but if you address those issues with the right aftermarket parts, you’d have one hell of a reliable sports car. Technology has advanced, we aren’t limited anymore by the materials used 20 years ago. Nowadays there are apex seals made from alloys that are simply unable to break. Plus, the RX-8 would give you the bragging rights about having an insane HP/L ratio, going up and over 200HP/L N/A when tuned.

If you ever wanted a Fiat 500 Abarth, but you considered it being not offroad enough, the Avventura is for you. It’s lightweight, it has the 1.4L T-JET engine and has a spart tyre attached to the trunk. I picked this one just because of how quirky it is. Yes, it might not be AWD as the looks and name would suggest, but it’s still as light as the 500 Abarth and has a similar engine.

Kia Rio is not special by any means, but the extremely rare factory option it had was. Under the hood, it’s the same 1.5L 108HP as on the regular model, but the Sports-Pac bodykit makes it look like a smaller WRX STI. There is also the even more rare late model bodykit that added side skirts, a front lip and a rear diffuser. It’s a cute car, which i wish to own one day, just because of how rare and quirky it is.

Kizashi was Suzuki’s attempt to make a sporty sedan. It came only with one engine and two transmissions available. Manual FWD and CVT AWD. Of course, the AWD version is the way to go, but only if you do a transmission swap. The CVT isn’t unreliable, it’s quite the opposite actually. The engine is very capable, having participated in competitions, even in top speed runs on salt flats.

The last one is the C230 Kompressor, which is another compact fun machine. It’s RWD, it’s supercharged, the recipe for fun. Ok, i’m too tired to write anymore. Too late at night. Insert “it’s tunable” funny comment here. Done.

Conclusion

Well, idk. Cool cars?

Now, What would you rate this list? I just need a number out of then, so i’d have something to put in the next one. Bc you’re probably the single one that would actually see this. XD
