#WanganCarChallenge The MR-S VM180 TRD

Since The MR-S has weight and downforce on its side, it would make sense to upgrade the engine way more than it is

1- Engine

Since the engine space is really small (1794 cc - 1.8L) there aren´t many choices, so i´ll have to go with the 13B Wankel Rotary.

Modifications:

  • Twin Turbo upgrade
  • Twin Piped Straight Exhaust
  • 6 Speed Manual Transmission with long speed ratio
  • 20B Engine Rotors
  • Custom ECU

2- Looks

Yep, i´ll have to go with the Initial D look, plus bigger spoiler, front canards & rear diffuser

Modifications:

  • C-ONE full body kit
    • C-ONE Carbon fiber hood
    • C-ONE Carbon fiber mid-engine hood
    • Voltex Rear Wing
    • Volk CE28 White Wheels

3- Handling

Since TRD made a performance version of the MR-S, it still needs to be reinforced to capable of being competitive on the Wangan.

Modifications:

  • Brembo Drilled Rotor Brakes
  • TRD Full Suspension Kit
  • TRD Strut Bars
  • Six-Point Bolt Roll Cage
  • Recaro Racing Seats

whats with people slapping downforce on their wangan builds?
yeah, stability is nice and all, but you’re seriously hampering your top speed with that

There are massive corners on the Wangan downforce is needed. The Wangan is the orange one.
