There are two schools of thought on that. Some will argue that’s technically true since Nissan includes displacement as part of their engine names. Others will say “Nissan never made a 4.2 L” and names are given by the manufacturer so its a stroked VR38. I have seen both ways written but I would love to know if there is a preferred method among the community.
