Hey EE… Do you know of the e46 CCV? It is a PITA part, always breaking in cold weather climates. I will replace it with an OCC… Any hints or tips welcome :)
As jason has said, boosted cars have a higher compression rate so blowby will be more of a problem. Also newer cars have direct injection which means the intake valves dont get cleaned by the fuel. Blowby when re entering the engine sticks to the valves and can hinder performance plus reduce the octane rating of fuels so could cause knock
